How to get AakashTel Extension Number?

  • Login to your AakashTel customer account.
  • Click on “Staff-Setting” and then go to the “User” section.
  • On there, you can see lists of existing agent’s details. On the top right corner, you can see the “Add new User” button; click on it.
  • You will be presented with a form with a comprehensive list of all the necessary information you need to assign your agent like name, Is Supervisor?, etc. Where you can also see the “User ID” field where you can assign an extension number to your agent.

Login to the AakashTel call center solution using your credentials. Click on the “Staff Setting” button, then go-to the Department section and create a department by clicking on the “Add New Department” button on the top right corner and assign a DID number for your department or team. Now go to “IVR” and then create a new IVR where you can assign extension numbers to each of your team or employees.

Yes, the extension number can be used for both on-site and remote employees as long as they stay connected to call center software or VoIP systems.

You can add as many extension numbers as you want based on your needs or number of teams. You can simply create an extension/DID (Department ID) number inside our staff setting section.

Calls are routed through the main call center system or IVR. Users can select an extension, and the system connects them to the desired agent or department.

Yes, you can. You can simply go to “IVR” you want to customize the extension number of. Click on the “Edit” button and then the setting button of the last child node of IVR. There you can customize extension numbers by assigning numbers from 1-9.
